Upon arrival, our Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Staff gathers invaluable information via a thorough assessment. Starting in 2021, this will include pre-diagnostic testing.

Our partnership with Mayo Clinic enables us to offer free COVID-19 testing for our guests and staff. We have also implemented masking and new sanitation procedures that will further protect our guests against COVID-19.

Originally just a hobby of some of our winter guides, guest interest inspired us to offer this thrilling activity throughout the season. We’re happy to accommodate your deepest fishing desires — even in the deepest of winter.
WATCHThe South Fork Shooting Complex is located in an amazing setting under a covered shooting house that offers fun, rain or shine. It has rifle targets from 50 to 1000 yards and an exciting and interactive handgun range. We provide a variety of rifles and handguns and give our guests a comprehensive lesson in the operation and safe use of firearms, from our professional and knowledgeable guide staff. It’s a fantastic way to be introduced to the shooting sports for beginners and a challenge for the seasoned shooter.

Private Skiing. You read that correctly. Our mountain is your mountain. We limit the “crowd”. Three Forks Mountain, blanketed by hundreds of inches of snow every year, boasts 1,100 vertical feet with 20 runs for every level. Its natural cruisers, bumps, steeps, open meadows, and majestic tree lines make for a world-class experience. During the design phase, former Olympians “tested” the mountain for us — and it left them breathless and begging for more.
While some might consider snowboarding a hybrid of skiing and skateboarding, at Three Forks Ranch we just call it awesome. But the real game changer? Snowcats - our heated snowcats will whisk you to the summit in no time. No lifts, no lines, no hassle. It’s your private mountain to conquer.
WATCHOur Antler Ridge 3D Archery Course has 13 stations, which are an easy walk along the trail from the instruction station, where you can learn archery for the first time or hone your skills with our expert guides. The course was designed and constructed by Three Forks guides, so it’s especially customized for the ultimate ranch experience. We offer compound bows and recurve bows — and plenty of arrows.
WATCHNestled in a picturesque Aspen valley, the Elk Ridge Sporting Clays course offers 12 shooting stations designed for the novice to expert. When your guides have fine-tuned your shooting, and you have a sufficiently bolstered ego from training on the Boone and Crockett Course, your personal guide will give you a tour through the 50-shot or 100-shot Pope and Young course to test and strengthen your abilities.
WATCHIf there ever was five-star snowmobiling, this is it. Thousands of private acres, no crowds, many miles of guided trails and acre after acre of pristine powder. Our guests love taking a snowmobile tour to Godfather Lake, where they enjoy ice fishing, a hearty cooler lunch, and steaming hot chocolate. It’s a unique experience that really represents the best of Three Forks. All rides are privately guided, using environmentally-sound, four-cycle snowmobiles.
WATCHLodge & Spa guests consistently rank Thrill Hill, our tubing hill, as a favorite winter experience. As you fly down the slope in an inflated tube, you’ll scream like banshees — without fail, no matter whether you are 22 or 72. The best part? You don’t have to trudge back to the top! We drive you and your tube up the incline on a snowmobile. Pro tip: for the ultimate bonding experience, create a circle of tubes, hold on tight to your neighbors’ handles, and let the guides push you over the edge!

True West: Fancy digs aside, the appeal here is intimacy. Managers dine with guests nightly. The three-to-one staff-to-guest ratio allows for spontaneity I’ve seldom encountered; last winter, I arranged snowshoe and cross-country ski outings with 20 minutes’ notice.
The Finest Money Can Buy: Visitors ride horseback on trails winding through countryside that could pass for the backdrop to a John Wayne western. The views are seldom less than breathtaking.

We are honored to offer our guests direct access to the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, the #1 healthcare system in the world. They have over 4,500 physicians and scientists working together, putting their patients first, above all else.
Over the years, we have recommended Mayo Clinic to numerous guests and have always been grateful that we did. As many as 88% of patients that go to Mayo Clinic for a second opinion receive a new or refined diagnosis!
The Mayo Clinic Executive Health Program leverages your visit time through a customized and comprehensive, one, two or three day itinerary of exams and tests conducted by a coordinating physician, and tailored to your specific needs. At the end of an evaluation, the coordinating physician will review the full report of test results with the patient and discuss the next steps.
Whether you go for a second opinion, predictive genomic counseling and testing or any of the multitude of services they offer, we are confident that you will be as impressed as we have been. We know that you will be in good hands until your next visit.

In conjunction with our partner, Mayo Clinic, we will now test every guest upon arrival and our entire staff on a weekly basis; doing our utmost to ensure that our guests will have complete peace of mind when visiting us this summer.
Nancy Kerr, our on-site Mayo trained nurse, will conduct the PCR nasal swab showing if there is an active infection and the optional serology test showing if there are antibodies present from prior exposure. We will overnight tests via FedEx to Mayo Clinic, and upon receipt of the results, Nancy will personally notify guests.
In addition to testing, we will be practicing universal masking. Our entire staff will wear masks when in contact with guests and each other. We will also provide masks to guests upon arrival. Guests will not incur any fees for these services.
